I have solved the porch awning height problem on our caravan!
We first purchased a Sunncamp Scenic when all our caravanning friends insisted that we had to get a porch awning. Having given in to the peer pressure, we bought the Scenic and found that we just couldn't get a tight fit against the caravan side. After a contemplatory beer and lots of head scratching we finally worked out that it was just too tall! Fortunately, we whipped it straight down and back into the pack before any ain got to it and the dealership where most helpful in taking it back (phew!).
We also scoured the web, and finally landed upon the 'Mini-Weekender', which we got for £74.99 inc delivery on E-Bay. It was advertised everywhere as being for caravan heights from 225cm. However, when it arrived we panicked when we saw that the label itself says 'from 332cm'....I contacted the dealer and the manufacturer, and got an agreement that they would take it back if it didn't fit.....
The major advantage of this porch awning is that the adjustable rubber connectors at the pegging out points come separately for you to attach to the toggles. On the Sunncamp, these connectors were already attached as you would expect. By having them separate, you can peg straight through the toggle and save yourself a couple of inches of connector length - genius!
Our 2 berth caravan (Lunar Ariva) has a rail height of 226cm, and the Mini-Weekender fitted really well by using the connectors in some places and not others. There was loads of space in the awning and it didn't cut off our window either, so we liked the design too even though it was our only option.
Our neighbour's porch awning blew down in a storm.....we chuckled as ours held strong!
The Mini-Weekender is manufactured by Pyramid Awning Products, you'll soon find it on a web search.
