we took our new van out for its first holiday this week and it didnt go quite how we wanted it to. when we got to the site we had a tight turn over a small bridge and with a 22ft van and a long omega i told hubby that we were going to end up in the ditch......10 seconds later bump....van in ditch after a bit of propping with wood and pulling with car we got it out with only minor damage. then we had to get the van a further 50 yards over a boggy field but the car got stuck so we unhooked the van to push it to pitch, hubby and 15yr old son slipped over (much to onlookers amusement). after finally getting the van pitched we had to get the car out but my poor 12yr old son was behind the back wheel that decided to spin covering him head to toe in mud. at this point i was in fits of laughter.

It's always best to see the funny side of things.....think that's why my hubby's always laughing at me.

Shame about your first outing though.
