Hi
Off tomorrow for my first holiday in the van. Everything loaded and ready for the off. Decided as I have never towed a van before to have a practise reversing etc. on an empty car park. As it is Bank Holiday the local Sainsburys shut at 7pm so down I went and it was great. Empty car park, brother helped me and I soon got the hang of reversing.
But whilst there decided to check the car and van tyre pressures. Car fine. Came to check the van and the air line deflated the van tyre down to 41psi from 50psi, (dealer PDI?) should be 59 (heavy Coachman). We realised the value thread was much shorter than on the car. Is this common on van?
What can I do? My brother say he thinks you can buy valve extensions. Is that right and if so where from?
Sure someone will have the answer. Thanks
Angela
