Hi, Glengormley here...went to Castle Archdale over Easter (out first ever outing). Nice part of the world but the weather was poor , very wet and muddy and the electric kept tripping but we still had a great time. We are off to Benone in a few weeks time.
Where do you buy your supplys for caravan, chemicals etc, who is the cheapest in the province?
What is your favourtite site in N.I?

I'm from Armagh, I get my camping stuff at downshire camping in banbridge, or cookstown caravans. Don't really have any fav. sites in NI, but We love going To Greenlands caravan park in Rosses point, Just back from another lovely easter holiday there.
Thanks for letting me know you are out there.Best site so far has to be Murlough Cottages Caravan Site,on the Dundrum Road in Newcastle. Was there over Easter and we had a ball.Off to Castle Archdale ourselves over the twelfth.Good reports I hear.Don't know much about it though.Hope you all keep in touch with us Kyla
Wlee we got more than that but as you know we are very shy people lol.
Problem being most of our lot go abroad each year and its hard to get them altogether at one time lol.
Ok you lot from NI, now we have caught your interest, anyone up for a NI meet next year if so, give me possible dates and venues, if any of you are doubt about this, one was held in 2005...I think lol.which was a great success for a first time meet, the reason I wanted to have a meet over here was to give campers and caravanners from the mainland a chance to savour our customs and friendships.
Any ideas please email me and I will start the ball rolling, if you are up to hosting a meet anywhere in NI or in deed anywhere on the Island, please get in touch with myself or ukcampsite admin, regards Chris.

Mmmm, never experienced the Irish (neither 'Northern, nor Republic) as shy people...
But I do remember them as people with a good memory.
Been in a pub in Glen once, owned by 'Mary'. Came back seven years later, was recognized and Mary came by to say hello.
Now I don't recall any bad behaviour the first time, but do admit I am rather tall and had an Indian girl friend with me the first time, which was rather unusual in Donegal, but still, just once and seven years later..
