Hi,
Ive just purchased a new awning ( sirocco ) to go with our new 06 Bailey Provance and i have no way of fixing the wheel arch cover to the van. Ive heard you can buy little suckers to attach to the wheel arch cover and then attach to van by the sucker pad. Does anyone know where i can purchse these from and how they attach to wheel arch cover.
Many thanks to anyone in advance for your help!
Darren

Try your local accessory caravan store or DIY store for the suckers.

My wife bought some large sucker pads with hooks already attached, and  brass rings attached to the wheel arch cover, simply hang the the cover to the hooks and a couple of pegs in the ground to keep  it taunt..

hope this idea helps Tony

Have the same problem, but now know what to look for one of these days. Suckers won't help as it's profile plating and the suckers won't hold.
There is a type of 8-frame which fits in the wheel arch, and which holds the cover. The frame is some light stuff similar to these plastic tent-poles, but more flexible.
If I cannot find the dealer of these i can make one myself.

Even making an arch to fit in the wheel arch, and attaching a horizontal piece with two hooks to hold the cover should be possible. If i can find something for the frame, i will makeone this way. Other ways are possible too. E.g. it may be well feasible and sufficient just to fold the cover over that arch (e.g. electricity pipe) into the wheel-space. Or apply two hooks in straight in that electricity pipe to attach the cover. Or an X-cross of wood to be placed in the wheel with two hooks etc. etc.
Look around, you will find something.

We use velco to keep the skirt in place.  Easy and cheap and can be use elsewhere in the caravan and at home.
