Scotland best scenery, best beaches, less people and you don't have to pay for car parks every time you wat to stop and visit somewhere unlike Wales. You can even find places without midges.

Having visited Scotland, Ireland and Wales over the years on holiday it is hard to draw a line between them.

I guess Scotland has the most fantastic Mountain scenary in Britian and Ireland, especially around the West highlands, but all parts has something special to offer. The people are fantastically friendly but in July and August the midges bite.....how can something so small have such big teeth?

Wales has it's own charm with nice beaches and mountain area in the North and lovely hills and beaches in the south and there is always something to do or see.

But for me it has to be Ireland, the people are great and the welcome you get is fantastic. There is just so much to see and do, the 9 Glens of Antrim are lovely and the Giants Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is a must....if only to say you have been and done it. The Ring of Kerry is spectacular as is the Burren and Co Mayo or more precisely Achill Island has the highest cliffs in Western Europe.  The only drawback is the cost of getting there as the ferries charges are very high at peak season.
