We looked at the Sprites last week with the view of possibly the major 6, but the price soon rises when you add the spare wheel and Alko hitch etc. Agreed about the cupboard hinges, the ones in the show van we looked at were so tight that the wife could only just open them, I know they adjust but you would think that the dealer would have the show van set up nicely. On that subject we were amazed how many 'show vans' were not really prepared to there best, one van had three hinges on the cupboard door with a total of 2 screws where there should have been 6, the door was wobbly and there was no screw holes where they had been removed, it had come from the factory like that. On another van the curtain rail across the bunk was so tight that someone had pulled the rail from the ceiling. The attention to detail was certainly lacking and when I questioned this the sales lady told me they were very busy and sold regardless!! Imagine how many more they would sell if they were prepped properly. Anyway we bought one of these (556 fixed bunk) for under 12k with alloy wheels, spare wheel and carrier, sony cd player, winterhoff stabiliser etc etc
