we are going away soon and it is onto hardstanding,will we need metal screwpegs for the awning.

i wouldnt have thought so  hardstanding is generally just for the van  an awning still goes on grass

i may be wrong though  someone will correct me no doubt lol.

When we stayed on a hard standing, we found that we did need those high tensile, (probably spelt wrong though), long metal peg things as the ground around the edge of the hard standing was still pretty hard to secure the awning.

Hi there, I am in the process of buying some screw in steel pegs for when we are on hard ground, gravel, I have come across a company who do them and you can put them in with a rechargeable drill.

we bought the 8" screw pegs.  They seem to work fine, although we avoid hard-standings whenever we can.
