I'm wondering what methods you use to lock your bikes up when you are staying in your 'van. Apart from locking them to fences, trees, inside the 'van or your vehicle etc. I like to leave them in the awning at night or when we go out and use a lock around the caravan wheel or through the chassis and around the bikes. But this has sometimes resulted in small dents and scratches in the side of the caravan. Usual there are three bikes of differing sizes. Is there a good place around the A frame that can be used perhaps?
How do you do it? Are there any devices that are available with this specific purpose in mind? Please let me know!
I've done that too. But this has also resulted in a few little scratches in the side of the 'van caused by the handle bars that inevitably rub or get knocked. We have just spent a big wedge of cash on a brand new 'van and I don't want to scratch it just yet
we have got some of that stuff that they use around the pipes so we can put it on the handle bars so it doesnt scratch the van as we also have a new van.

A balanced life is a glass of wine in each hand :O)
We also have a chain at the other side, for the Aquarolls and Wastemaster, and a shorter length for our Milenco step.
I know its not very trusting, but if you add up how much to replace the kit you leave outside your caravan, not to mention the disruption to your holiday.
Cheers

4 bikes, with lock through front wheels, stored in the awning when not used to keep them dry, with some material between handle bar rubber and van to prevent black marks.
