we too just bought a porchlite plus from awnings.co.uk £69.95 delivered if i remember rightly

Put up in 5 mins it says mmmmm maybe put up but not pegged down as takes another 10 mins to peg down properly

Thanks for the feedback - my problem is that as its a FC, the trailer box is 8' long so thats the extent of the awning rail(no uprights) so Im a bit limited in choices, but would still like the space.

Im also considering one of the more traditional porch awnings, or even a motorhome awning whereby the fit isnt as much of an issue.

I should really pop along to my local dealer within on tow and ask their advice.

This has also caught my eye - but Im a bit dubious of its ability to stand up to the rigours of my kids swinging on the poles etc. This one is about as big as I can go , given the FCs awning rail lengh and trailers dimensions

Perhaps a more traditional porch awning may take a bit more of a beating.

We were looking at one of these and decided it was a bit small.  We only keep a table and chairs in our little utility tent, which is roughly the same size.  We decided that, if this was up against the van, there wouldn't also be room to open the door to get in.  They do a slightly larger one for only a few more pounds and the extra little bit of space would probably make all the difference.

Matty I have the Porchlite from e-awnings, it is only 205cm wide. it si a good size awning for storing shoes, bin and keep cool and a chair, at least thats what i got in with ample room.

The thing to watch out for is the height. it needs a height of 235 - 250 cms.

You dont need the side rails as this has detached sides.
