anyone know of caravan storage places in or around bournemouth/poole and surrounding areas.

We checked all over the area, not finding anything where we could get all year round storage at a reasonable price or with good security - most have just compounds or do only winter storage.  In the end we opted for putting the van in all year round storage in East Devon (other side of Lyme Regis) and visit there every weekend, but we still have the option of using the van for holidays elsewhere.  They tend to leave the van on a pitch all through the summer for us and we pay storage charges, plus pitch fee when occupying it.  Plus the site is open from mid March to mid November too.

To be honest, we've found we use the van every weekend, which is something we wouldnt do if we had the hassle of fetching it out of storage, loading it and putting it back.  We can be at the site in little over an hour on a Friday afternoon and needn't come back until early Sunday evening.  Its another option you could consider.

We looked there and the tiny lane, tight corners and little bridge over the stream put us off!
