Good afternoon all thanks to all with the help on towing i got my new van , which is just a wee bit bigger than the last , hence its a bit big for my drive does anyone no any storage places in the glasgow area

We couldnt get storage for our van in or around Glasgow, not one with secure storage anyway.

We store ours in Catrine in Ayrshire, which is brilliant as we spend most weekends down that coast anyway.  They charge £200 for outdoor storage and £300 for indoor storage, very helpful friendly family

Its COSSOA registered too so saves you a few bucks on your insurance too

your friend must have her van stored in beith, i thought it was a joke having to pay the £6 they charge you for taking your van out

Beith is nearer to us, but we figured that it would cost us a fortune as we have already had our van out every weekend so far this year.

My parents store their van somewhere in Hamilton but its not secure storage, anyone can wander in and out at anytime and no one stops them to see who they are.  We picked up my parents van for them one weekend and no one batted an eye

Wouldnt feel safe leaving my van there at all.

When we were looking for vans for sale last year we went to a little storage place up a tiny little road in East kilbride it was a nightmare to get to in the car nevermind lugging a caravan up it too.  Storage there was only £100 and it was obvious why too

I wouldnt move our van from where it is, the family are great very helpful, sometimes I go down to pick van up on my own and the guy there hooks it up for me and everything while I have a natter with his mum

I dont store my van in Hamilton, I store mines in Catrine, Ayrshire which is approx 15 miles from Ayr.

Thats a bit out of the way for us as we are on Southside, my parents have theirs in Hamilton which is ideal for them as its only 10 mins from them as they are in the east end
