What does everybody use to stick their licence plates to the caravan?  The dealer used those sticky pads and it fell off after awhile, luckily it was at the storage site, so the owner chased after us to give it back!

We then used "No More Nails", that worked okay for about a year or so, until last week.  We lost our licence plate somwehere between Mansfield and Cornwall!

I have used the velcro and has been sucessful for me. The secret is preparation when you clean your van you have all sorts of polymers and that in the cleaning and waxing products. All this must be removed otherwise the velcro will not stick properly. I also put the velco the full length of the number plate on top and bottom, that way if any part of the velcro becomes detached there is loads left to hold in position. Do not drill the body work. - Anyway good luck just about to leave for The Ranch at Evesham.

Self adhesive number plates are the best especially if you're going to warmer climates.

Sellotape do an very good double sided padded tape that has excellent adhesive properties, but as Chalkie said, you must make sure the van is clean. I used T Cut and then the tape and have never had a problem
