The duchess and myself were meant to be going out this weekend so i thought i would do some pre season flite checks, oh darn, a family of blue tits has decided the wheel arch on the van is home for the time being, and  the thought of having to stay at home and suffer the football makes me cringe, oh mother nature at times you have a lot to answer to...!

When we spent 2 weeks on the banks of the River Ure near Ripon (many moons ago - I was in my mid-teens and camping with my parents) in our folding camper with awning, bats started roosting under the weather-flap over the awning zip!  It's illegal to disturb a bat-roost, and illegal to handle bats (unless you are licensed) .... so we made lots of noise close to the canvas where the little furries were sleeping and after a couple of days they left.

I know - no use to you trying shift a blue-tits' nest, but your story brought back the memory!
