Hi

Please have a look at my Brothers caravan for sale on e..y!

He is selling his 2004 model caravan and I can personally vouch for the fact that that it has only been used 9 times since he bought it brand new! When I say used I mean for weekends and Bank Holidays at the most and not for main Holidays. I don't really want him to sell it but I'm afraid he just hasn't caught the bug.

The van is in mint condition and he is unaware that I have posted this message but I think someone on this site will be getting a real bargain.

I know this post may sound a bit cheeky but I wouldn't want to risk spoiling my integrity if what I said was not true!

Regards Chris

bit of a bargain that mate , fixed bunks as well & 4k cheaper than a new one.we were looking at these last week & quite fancy the Adora 532 which i believe is the next model up from the Altea.

someone with a 2 or 3 young uns would be getting a great starter van there.

if i was in that situation id certainly consider it.

Would just point out his is a european import, the door is on the wrong side, and the kitchen spec etc reflects it too (no oven)

Cheers

I'm afraid to say that this van is not an unofficial european import. All the Adria Alteas of this vintage had the door on the wrong side (mine included), All of these were imported officially by Adria UK and are all NCC approved. It wasn't until the 2006 model Alteas that Adria swapped the doors to the U.K side. None of the Alteas have an oven, just a hob.what ever country they are destined for.

Thanks Jon, official import or not the point is the same still, it's a European version, so the door is on the road side, which any prospective buyer needs to be aware of

Cheers

just to add my view. Whoever ends up with this van looks as if they will have a bargain. We have an identical van and it is probably the best thing our family has ever done. We get away most weekends and the van meets the needs of our family of 5 a treat! Dont worry about the lack of oven, we just use the hob or a little table top oven we bought for 15quid. Of course the Cadac gets lots of use when the sun is around as well. In fact our neighbour was looking for a van himself........

I agree about the oven, who needs one, when you have a cobb, or a cadac! The oven in my van is pretty much still a virgin!

We have the same caravan, and same year,  as you sold and can't beleive you sold it so cheap! Why did you not go to a dealer, especially at it was still under warranty?

Hi Happy Camper

I've had no problems with insurance as the Alteas are NCC approved. As long as the CRIS number is readily available it shouldn't be a problem, as I said before they are official imports by Adria UK. The new 2006 models have the door on the u.k side now anyway.

Jon
