We have just made our first purchase of a caravan and have been told that it is a 1988/89. 

I have the Serial number and the Chassis number and was wondering how to find out the year of manufacture of this caravan for insurance purposes.

Make & Model:- Trophy Agistar

Serial Number:- S8TRO8504

Chassis Number:- 88071321

Any further information on this caravan would be much appreciated thanks

The year of manufacture is usually indicated on the chassis number number either at the beginning or the end---two digits usually, so I would suggest that the 88 at the begining of your chassis No is the year that the van was made
