Hi

I recently bought a caravan that came with an isabella commodore awning but one of the poles needs replacing. I took it to a local isabella retailer but they asked the model/ year and size of the awning so they can match the pole.

How do i find the year and size of the awning. Also how can i tell it its a commodore or a commodore alpha?

Would there not be a label somewhere on the canvas that has all the details on.

Sorry i havent looked yet as the storage yard is a fair distance and cant get to the awning yet?

If you have the awning bag the label is on the bottom of the bag on the outside.

Isabella also print the model number and size onto the fabric itself.  Ours is printed in two places on the inside of the awning, at high level, close to the edge that you feed into the awning channel (so near the top corners of the caravan).  The last digits of the code indicate the year of manufacture.

- I think the Commodore Alphas may have a curved shape to the top of the front window panels,  That is certainly the case with the Ambassadors (the Ambassador Crown has straight windows and the Alpha is curved)
