Levelling blocks are important for putting under the wheels or you could be rolling out of bed a lot.

I treated my caravan to every concievable gadget but 3 years on most of the stuff is left at home as I realised hardly any of it was being used.

Don't waste your money on the over-priced caravan electrical equipment (TV, kettle, etc.)  Just buy regular stuff but lower wattage is best on things like a microwave.

My suggestion would be to go away with the basics and see what you really miss.

Forget everything else – just get your caravan and then spend a week holidaying lending items of fellow campers.

hi, we are still new to this but.... when we take the teenagers away i always take my george forman grill, cooks quick and less washing up ( remember tho' not to use other electric stuff at the same time i blew the electric! i learnt quick! ) As with any thing new we learn the hard way! i also would recommend wind breakers cos' it gives extra privacy when reading and sunbathing. oh and find a site near your home like we have ( 15 miles away ) just to get away for a short weekend Also as a lot of others have stated the good old booze! Enjoy your caravan.
