Hi there Ian and to
THEEEEEEE best site on the whole www thingy!
Won't waste time doing the whole thingy coz I just did that on another thread and then me lappy went dimented and I lost the w-h-o-l-e blooming thing!
So, I'll just say, take a squiz on the thread entitled 'New Arrivals...Welcome' ASAP to preserve your sanity! It'll tell ya everything ya need to know about the addiction that is
Now we have a Dorema Madison awning and it also has the quick lock gismo's that you describe. Now basically, most awnings go up the same so if you'd like a copy of the instructions, I'd be more than happy to copy ours and bung 'em in snail mail to ya?
The Dorema website is good, but I've yet to see any instructions on how to bung 'em up
My hubby usually lays all the poles out on the ground in their correct places first. Then with the front and side panels OUT we thread the awning through the awning rail with him pulling and me feeding it in, (I sit on me fishing stool for this, just the right height). Once threaded through he actually chucks it on the roof of the van which allows him to start putting up the poles as per the directions on our little booklet thingy. Next he pulls the awning bit over the frame, tightens all the connections to the right length to keep the roof canva, (acrylic), taught, then zips in the front panels and sides before pegging out. I get lumbered with curtain detail
Anyhoo, if you'd like me to copy our instructions, let me know your snail mail address, (best done through webby though by asking him to give you my email addy first, so you can email it to me), and I'll get them off to ya.
But before I go.......next ukcs-anon meeting, coming soon to a pc near you.
My name's hippy chick and I am a ukcs addict..yipeeeeee
