I own a 2003 Bailey Senator from new and have always complained of squeaky brakes.  The Dealer of course told me each time there was nothing wrong.  At New Year the brakes seized and the caravan has been in the workshop ever since.  Apparently I have a French prototype axle and all parts Alko keep sending over to the workshop don't work.  One side of the axle is OK the other is the problem.  Does any other Senator owner have this trouble or am I the only one?  If not how was the matter resolved.

Already done that and got the tee shirt with the usual letter "sorry we can't help you on this occasion".. However the wife has now written to Bailey & Alko tonight asking both of them to take responsibility and to get their heads together with the workshop manager before the end of the week to totally replace what she calls an unroadworthy axle. I'd hate to see where she goes next if they don't!!!  Could be they will be the pigeons.  Thought I would post the query incase some one else had got a French axle and not a British one on the first models produced for the 2003 market and also had problems.

My fridges electric bits were for the French market and kept blowing untill the engineer twigged it and ordered the "wrong " bit to make it work in UK. The right bit listed was no good . All done under warranty as the van ( Indiana ) is nearly new.

Have you got legal assistance on your home insurance?

If so give them a ring and get some legal advice, they will usually take on a case on your behalf.
