We have just been to see a freedom (Tiny) caravan, We are new to caravanning and only have a small car, basically we need a bed as i have a back problem and awning for the teenage kids.

This caravan was a 1993 model and in fairly good condition, 1 owner with all accessories, wheel lock, stablizer, water containers. loo, gas and awning. Is £1,300 a good price for this van and what should we look out for. There dosnt seem to be any damp!

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Hi Von and Jon seems good to me but im no expert we are in the same boat as you at the mo lookin to get our first van,theres tips on what to look for in the tips and features bit on this site,also have a look at the previous posts on this subject as i and many others have asked the same questions and you get a lot of info reading all the posts about buying,if you were any where near the north east you might wanna give tentmad a shout on here ,she has a lovely little 4 berth van with a really good awnin and bits for sale, its a small and light van so might suit your needs,one thing most people will say is dont buy the first van you see only less your sure theres plenty of vans out there to choose from. well hope that helps a little.
