We got our very first van 2 weeks ago, a Bailey Ranger 550/6, I am 6ft7" and 21 stone, I will not say I can stand up completely straight throughout the whole van, I can where the rooflight is, but I would not say that it is uncomrfortable anywhere in the van.

My advice would be to go and have a look round at some local dealers and then see what suits you.

My OH is 6'2" and doesn't have too much of a problem in most vans.  Best thing to do is to go and look at various vans and when you find one you like try standing in the shower, lying on the beds, sit at the table etc just to make sure the van's OK sizewise.

I have heard that Fleetwood caravans come up a bit taller - don't know if this is right, just someone on holiday said they had one as her oh was 6ft3. Try lying on the beds though, as it's ok to stoop to get in your van but then it wouldn't be much fun not being able to sleep well would it?!

OH is 6' 4 and a bit, and we have a Lunar Solar Eclipse. On the whole, no problems as long as he ducks the lights. Bed also no problem when set up to make a very large double. Using sofas as singles though doesn't work as his feet hang over either the sink or heater, accompanied by choice language.
