Ebay is a good place and the size your after is a common size.

I have one i think is a size 8 its a Dorema unsure what model, it came with a heap of a caravan i won on ebay, the add said it was fairly new and had fibreglass poles.

but on getting the van home and taking the awning out, the poles are alloy not fibreglass, also one of the poles had damage where it is fixed by a pin to the upright, and it has a tear approx 1 inch in the front near one of the poles. other than that, its in good condition, I am open to reasonable offers for it, as i got a 3 mtr wide awning from ebay to fit our van now.so its no longer required.

Only prob is we are away for a week as from this friday, so if your interested and can wait a week, than make me an offer.

I've got a Dorema Madison green/grey on the free ads here under the month of May if you wanna take a squiz? But a size 8 is 800-825cm! You might need a size 9? 825-850cm.

I'm away from midnight tomorrow though so couldn't help ya till after that anyhoo I'm afraid but you can see all it's details on the  where you'll see that it was only used three times before changing our van for a larger one.

Will try to get a check on here at some point tomorrow with so-o-o-o much to do before we go away, (holiday was hanging in the balance until after me hospital visit today and couldn't get motivated incase we couldn't go).

Hi, hippy chick.  Sorry to question your awning sizes, but I am looking at a Glossop Caravan awnings ad in C.C. mag.  It definitely shows Dorema 825-850 cms to be a size 8.   Size 9 is 850-875 cms.

guppyduck.  Where did you get your 840 cms from?   This should be the length of the awning channel, plus its dsitance from the ground at either end when standing on the level.   If you have not already done so, check it by putting a length of string through the channel so that it touches thr ground at either end. (needs 2 people).  Then measure the actual length of the string.  This is your awning size in cms.

If the size falls on an exact figure of a size range (say 850cms), go for the size 8 - 825-850 cms.  In this situation, if you went for 850-875 cms. you would have difficulty getting your awning taut if the pitch sloped UPWARDS away from your van on the awning side.
