cheers folks. the two links that you gave me michael both gave me different weights to tow. think i will need to keep looking and do a bit more homework before i make any decisions.

Have a look at Adria caravans - we bought a 5 berth Altea, with great sized fixed bunks and a side dinette.  It's light to tow at 1300kg loaded.  We are really pleased with the quality and it was much cheaper than some of the British made vans.
