just bought a new caravan when i noticed the front window had rep 535 and a big circle scratched deeply on the front of it.    we bought the caravan on a rainy day so never noticed it at the time.         after pricing new windows, i checked out this post and bought some fenwicks windowise - what a fantastic result!!! contrary to the opinion of others it .........after a few careful applications , it removed  the deep scratches and now the window is as good as new.   Fantastic,   saved us a fortune

I used the windowize and it's done a good job on all but one deep scratch even though you can't feel the ridge anymore but my arm has developed Muscles and the scratch is still there.

I have seen it mentioned using 1200 wet and dry with plenty of soapy water on deep scratches then re applying the windowize again, can anyone confirm this.

Marc

We had some scratches on our old van windows, a chap on site was removing a scratch from his & I went to see what he was using. It was brasso, he got the scratch off our bathroom window with no problem at all. I don't know if it works on ALL windows but it did on his & it did on ours.

I too have scratches on my windows from cleaning them... i felt a little left out!!! no I really do have scratches. so which product is best? fenwicks, brasso, ,t.cut, ???

OR just elbow grease mixed with warm water.... sooooooo many different products to choose from mind, all saying they can remove scratches from windows, but the reality is if they dont work as stated on the box, report it to the manufactures. I just tend to squint at my windows and cant see any scratches tbh... just trying to up the humour there guys!
