Awning salesmen are going to blame the caravan manufacturers aren't they, the caravan people will blame the awning makers & we the customer won't know who is at fault.
I'd have thought that as bailey now have a computerised factury their sizes should be pretty good. I felt uncertain because Bailey quote the size in centimetres & Dorema in size numbers. I decided to ring Dorema & asked them about an awning, the man there asked the make & model of the van. I told him & he told me the size I'd require, advised on what I should consider adding to the basic awning. Gave me a price along with good discount & delivered to the door within two days.
The awning fits like a glove & is a beauty. We had isabella for 12 years & didn't buy another because of the price but this Dorema President is excellent. I really like the built in storm straps.
It cost me less than £1300 delivered with two high annexes complete with bedroom inners the storm strap kit, fibre glass frame, extra pack of ladder straps & two extra poles.
