You know the little groove at the bottom of the window frame, well I thought that you fixed the window lever in between that groove. Is that right? If it is the case, you can feel a bit of air coming in, so are you supposed to fix the lever beyond that groove (into the caravan side of the frame). This is difficult to explain. The reason is that I fixed the levers into the grooves on the roof light, which opened in transit. Dammit!!!!!!!
Second thing is, I am just wondering why you are charged extra at the campsites if you have an awning. Any ideas anybody please. You are still on the same pitch, it doesn't take up any extra electricity, well maybe a light. I am baffled as to why the extra charge. I know somebody out there will explain. Thanks all.
Thanks michael, you are a star! I know it seemed a pretty silly question, but I figured if I didn't ask, I would never know. I was just worried that I would pull the window closed too tight by fixing over the groove and break a seal or something. Also your answer has saved an argument which has been going on for weeks - ok so I was wrong, funny that, I am usually right, even when I'm wrong!!!
re the charge for the awning, I guess it comes down to the extra cost of maintaining and repairing any grass . Some sites don't charge if you use a breathable groundsheet, some even insist on it, and they'd probably prefer you not to use them at all if truth be known!
