I know this is an old thread but I just wish to say thank you to to those who posted helpful advise. I have an Eastham Maxol BG21 which had exactly the same oven issue. Last weekend I disassembled it from my caravan, not only did I find the jet was partially blocked, when I used an aerosol air duster to blow through the oven pipework, bits of rust flew out the jet holder (jet removed) on to some strategically placed kitchen towel. Oven is now back to it normal self after many years of struggling to heat anything.
Quick tip, If you are blowing out a jet always remove it, obviously, and blow it through in the opposite direction to the normal flow of gas. This ensures that any particles in it leave in the same direction they came from, doing it in the normal direction can force any bits that may be there to make the blockage worse by jamming tighter in the hole.
Pete.

I had a Maxol Monte Carlo oven in my old caravan. I cleared out the jets but didn't make much difference thought it was a pile of rubbish if I'm honest, it took ages just to warm a pie. As Gary has said in a previous post the Flavel Vanessa is a brilliant little oven I had one in my camper for years & know of others who have owned them & never had any problems. Ok they're not modern looking but if that don't bother you & it doesn't me then I'd have another in an instant.
A lot of poorly operating gas burners are usually due to partially blocked jets, I cleaned out my oven gas jet the other week because the OH struggled to do a yorkshire pudding! and the difference is amazing, I have to do the same thing on my dads static van with the grill and oven every so often, I keep saying I'll take my compressor up there one day and blow out the pipes.
