Hi All,

I have decided to bite the financial bullet and my Reich Comfort movers are being fitted today. After another weekend where I had to block the road off in the hope that a passing (or not passing, to be more presise) motorist would give me a push up the drive (road width doesn't allow for reversing), I rang Mobilemovers.co.uk for a quote. I originally wanted the Truma SE, but was somehow talked into the Reich. I hope I did the right thing, The saving is about £400 over the Truma, but I am still wondering if I shouldn't have stuck to my original plan. I console myself that while I will not have electronically engaging rollers, I will have enough for my Satelitte system

What do you reckon... is the £400 better spent elsewhere, or wil I spend the future jealously eyeing up those who have the Truma SE.

We've had a Reich mover for over 4 years now, on our single-axle Compass, and we can't speak highly enough of it. Light, easy to use, and not a single problem. I'm sure you'll be delighted with yours!

Can't comment on the Reich and any benefits but we recently had a mark 1 (reconditioned),Powrtouch mover fitted to ours and it is the best thing since sliced bread.

Know exactly what you meant about hoping for help from a passing motorist or pedestrian or even a willing able bodied neighbour whenever any of our offspring plus their partners weren't available. Been there, done that, bought the t shirt and made the video

Trust me...no matter what make it is...you are so-o-o-o-o- gonna love it! Ours has changed our lives...literally!And I am brilliant at moving Ellie all on me owny o, (once hubby's bent down and locked the rollers on), with just me two thumbsHow fantastic is that for a certified decrepit!Used to only be any good for holding on to a grab handle and directing it before.

Graham, Hippychick, you are so both right... I love these already! The guy from www.mobilemovers.co.uk was great, and demo'd them for me. They ate up the driveway problem with ease. My van is now like a great big remote control toy. I will be out there till midnight! Brightredrover, we have gravel once through the gates, but it is quite large (15ml) and tends not to stick to the tyres. Hope all goes well with sorting your motor.

Thanks all... off to play till my battery goes flat! No more post trip backache & sore knees... no more knackered jockey wheels when coming off the drive on to the road etc.etc. OH can comfortably recuperate following her shoulder operation... great!!!!!

Have reich sorted out your system.  We are thinking of buying one to get a caravan up our steep drive.
