Thanks for that ebay link, had to get new plates for the car and caravan because of registration number transfer. E-mailed him and had an answer back more or less straight away, and a good price
Watch these number plates from ebay because they're not always legal - possibly OK on a trailer or caravan but not on a car. They have to have the British Standards kite mark or something on them and the name and address/post code of the supplier. I know someone who was pulled up with them and had to pay a £60 fine - the cameras the police have can spot these things a mile off!
My neighbour bought a Bongo jap import and had to buy plates from Ireland because the plates and lettering were a different size from uk and would not fit. He has sold it now but was sure they would be illegal on our roads. I suppose its because these so called safety cameras couldn't nick you if not quite correct size.
Go to your local motor factors with your log book and driving licence/passport and get em made there and then.I make plates and charge £9 a plate,fully legal,everything above board no problems.I honestly can't see why people need to complicate what should be an easy procedure.
