Has any one seen the new invention Caravan Extendabed. Its great ,you can make one of the single beds in your van much wider and still be able to walk between the two beds .If you are a bit bigger than normal like I am and need extra space when sleeping it is very good and you dont wake your partner getting in and out of bed at night. The  bed extention takes about one minute to unfold and get ready and it stores under the bed in the day time. If you would like to see it the web site is www.caravanextendabed.com. I hope you like it as much I do.

There is quite a 'jump' in the proceedings between steps 1 & 2 - I wouldn't fancy unfolding and turning the contraption within the confines of a caravan.
Nice idea in principle, though. It shouldn't take too long to make something similar out of an old sunlounger and some odds & ends out of the scrap box. A lick of paint and I'll be off to the patents office with my 'Stowaway Bed-o-Matic'...

Hello Simon. I have a son who`s a propper comedian ,you know on stage and all that. Seriously, the Extendabed has been tested to 30 stone and none of the bits came out of my shed. I have used one for two seasons and it made a great difference. Folding the extendabed is no problem,by the time my wife has cleaned her teeth ,I have Extendabed in place and ready to sleep. By the way Simon, you can get a special fitted sheet for Extendabed.Do check out the web site to see if Caravan Extendabed looks as though it was made from bits from my shed, I don`t think so. www.caravanextendabed.com

Thanks for the banta,Simon.
