If there was a "Bible" of websites, this would be it. I constantly refer to it and if I've added a posting I watch my Inbox throughout the day to see what else has been added and I've never failed to find a friendly ear and good advice.
You WILL become addicted, I tell everyone about it and am forever preaching about "So and so says this on my favourite website" - "So and so says that on my favourite website". It really is a mine of information, the search facility's great to see if you can get answers before posting a new topic (I looked up Old Mr Fenwick last night and just HAVE to buy a bottle of Bobby Dazzler, Top & Tail, Winterising stuff and Cleaner!).
PS, when I finally get OH to tow the van (its sited), I'll be the first to book a Meet - I've got to get my hands on The Pink Stuff - I got the ingredients off a link but haven't got round to making any yet - maybe Christmas
Yep great site. We found the site when we first thought about camping at Easter, first one we came across. The advice was good the camping was good so we stayed and ended up going from trailer tent to caravan in six months so we could carry on camping in the winter. The people on the site have helped no end to make our first forays into camping enjoyable and safe. WELCOME
Welcome, yes they are a great bunch of people, but be warned....there very addictive too.lol....we have met loads of great people we would have never have met without UKCS, best wishes and hope to meet you too one day
Hi Karen, Can you please tell me the secret recipe for the pink stuff. My OH is intrigued and would love to try it but when I ask for the "pink stuff" in my local Bargain Booze and the assistant ask which one, I say, "that stuff the tin-tenters sup" I politely get asked to leave or they will call the police! Thanx, Psyklon.
well at least whilst our/your vans are laid up for the winter we can always come in here to drown our sorrows....this is our third year of caravaning and still feel like novices lol, must say it's great way of getting away as hubby is some times not very well, and have wasted money/ deposits on hotels guests houses when we have had to cancel, i wasn't too keen at first and it's took me a while to get used to caravaning, would go away a lot more often BUT........... unfortunatley have been left with daughters cats (2 of) huh!! oh yes we heard all the "" but yes mum i will come over and feed them when i leave home i promise!! ..............any way 12 months away form home and now new baby, who has been left holding the cats???? yes your right!!

Sunshiny, thanx very much, just got back today from Windy Harbour (5 wet & windy nights) but will take the ingredients with us on our next weekend jaunt in 3 weeks time (Abbey Farm, Ormskirk) and give it a blast! Thanx again, Psyklon.
Have been to Abbey farm just for weekend was lovely sight.......only thing that spoilt it for us was little uns running round our van whilst adults drinking in awning..oblivious...but would go again.
