our caravan was winterised before we bought it, ie it has an extra blown air outlet in the shower room and also a second water inlet in there too, (Aquaroll would sit in shower tray)

however the thought of lifting a full 40 ltr Aquaroll into the van without breaking my back puts me off winter caravanning!

could I do something like buy a second Aquaroll and another water pump, leave the Aquaroll in the shower room and just fill it from the one outside using the second pump plugged (for power) into the outside water inlet?

would this work do you think?

yes of course it would,

However..

Why bother with  a second aquaroll, we caravan in winter all the time, and its rare the water freezes beyond use.

Secondly, if you have to, just use a cheap 2 gallon water carrier, your obviously not using the shower in the van if your taking up the space with a aquaroll, so 2 gallons or maybe even 5 gallon container should last you a day or so, and you can carry that no problem

Spasm,

Winter caravanning is brill!!

I am typing this message from our caravan, yes its been wet, but so what...

we have had a brill weekend, been shopping and genrally chilled out.

We spent new year last year in our van in edinburgh, and we will be spending it in the van this new year also,

The sites are loads quiter, and nothing beats a beautifuk winters morning.

Also it sounds sad, but the best thing ever is hearing the rain pound down on your caravan roof, whilst you are all snug inside, I dont know what it is but I love that sound!
