How much would be a fair price to sell a CC site voucher for?

If used over Christmas then the value is £25 at some sites as it allows 2 adults and 2 children.

I don't want to sell them on ebay.

It all depends on the expiry date, if it's 31 December 06 then you've left it a bit late to sell it as it's a buyers market at the moment with around £10 a reasonable figure, check the going rate on ebay. It's fine quoting the highest posible return value e.g. 2 adults + 2 children during Christmas week but just how many children do you think will be on the CC sites over Christmas, very few I would imagine with mainly mature couples with no children occuping the pitches. The majority of potential buyers will be using them before Christmas when the site fees are low with around £13 for 2 adults a rough figure so it's not worth the hassle of paying more than £10 unless you are buying quite a few at once.

Obviously if the expiry date is December 08 then you can expect upto around £20 for them as you have all the peak seasons to use them

Thick question here - what are they?  Are they like the C&CC camping miles?

I stopped at Kielder Water last week for 4 nights and it was just under £36, it would not be worth buying at that price , however if a couple goes away at xmas site fees are around £18 to £20 a night , if you are going to sel them , i would advise sooner rather than later before the price dips any lower.

Max and Paddy

CC vouchers are better as you get a night free as well as electricity .The other club issues a mile for every night you stop on the site , when you get 10 you get a free night voucher, however its not completley free , because if you wanted hard standing or elecric yo uwould still have to pay for the srvice pitch.

Thanks Compass Lady - we've booked for a C&CC site after Christmas and I didn't realise we still had to pay for the electricity.  How do you get these CC vouchers?

We've just received our second CC magazine and, all in all, I think that's the club we'll be going with next year anyway - you don't get the age concession you get with the C&CC but I think the other benefits may be better.

Nora
