I am brand new to caravaning and read about the condensation problems and was wondering if it is safe to use a mini de-humidifier in a caravan. You can buy them at woolys for about £40.
Adequate heating and ventilation should mean you would not have a problem. Are you getting condensation in a specific area? Downsides to a dehumidifier are the space it takes up and the noise it makes.

The himidifier is only a little bigger than 2 bags of sugar and a lot lighter. I have not used the van yet I am just thinking ahead.
WALT
hi we have got a large one but its so heavy! also the small one works well in my caravan as it a two berth, i would not like to say if it would work in a larger caravan. i hope this helps you!
Is this an electric one? Sorry! I am not familiar with it. My daughter uses an electric dehumidifier in her flat, it is amazing how much water it collects!
hi be warned about the woolies one,it works well but on a cold night it will freeze up at the front forming a layer of ice, this could overheat the humidifier.like mine just need to check it regular.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

hi yes it is a electric plugin one, i run mine by day, never by night. there are lots of the bigger size ones out for the house to they are fantastic, we use ours when we have had a shower does a great job inside my house, but my baby one is just for the caravan.
