We have the Sunncamp Ultima 260 and it is very easy to put up and dead handy.  Wouldn't be without it now.

We've got one of these! Theres a lot of room in them, oh has it up in 10 mins , and just chuck them over the line to dry. They sell them in the shop on this site and at a good price as we paid £150 a year ago.

We had heard a lot of "horror stories" about Fiamma Caravanstores being taken by wind and damaging vans, so were very wary with ours to start with.

However it transpired, on closer examination, that in every case we had heard of the owners had been lax, or even foolish, and not pegged it down well immediately.

The basic canopy on 2 poles comes with 2 guy-lines to attach to the top of the poles, and pegging points through the feet of the poles.  Side panels have (I think) 5 pegging points.

We have had ours up in plenty of windy situations in the last few years, and also use a "storm guy" over the front (but only this year!) and have never had any problems with it.

We bought a Family 260 from here Homestead for £63 , but they are out of stock at the moment .

We use our full awning (Isabella) for anything over a couple of days; and sold our porch awning at the beginning of the season.

Tension from the poles and the pegging out.

We use a porch awning for long stays but always use a sun canopy at all other times.

We`ve had our canopy for 23 years and was originaly a tie-on Conway trailer tent accessory and has been altered time and time again to suit whatever unit we have !!

Thinking of dying it again and reproofing it this winter as its looking a little faded.

It only takes a couple of minutes to erect and the same o pack it away and if its wet its no bother to hang on the washing line at home to dry out.
