As we live in S. Kent, we would be more than happy to have a look at any van for you and find out what we can. We do know the dealerships round here, can you tell me which one? There is one I would be a tad wary of, and one that is in the process of closing.

Woohoo, thanks Themeldrews but don't dare procastinate any longer - about to sell the family home, need shelter and daren't count on a friendly innkeeper with an empty stable.

Thanks to a little offline pep talk from purplehat - we bid £8500 (with a view to negotiating a bit ) and he suggested that we find a private buyer, told me that he'd wait to sell the van in the Spring and said goodbye (refusing to take my telephopne number incase he changed his mind.

So, this afternoon we ordered a brand new van for £200 m0more than his asking price

Can't wait to take delivery at the end of Jan.
