Hi John
Had ours for three years now, the only time its been back to the dealers is for its annual service, which says it all I think. I have two young children (now 2 and 4) and they have climbed all over it, spilt food and drink everywhere, thrown bikes and toys against it and it still scrubs up no problem. Only problem I had was sourcing a door when someone ran into it in storage(that took about 5 months). They are basic but honest caravans and when cleaned looks like new. You will have the advantage in a 2006 model of the door on the uk side and a slightly better specced wash area, and smooth aluminium panels (I prefer my stippled side because they hide an awful lot of dings-kids again). The other bonus is as they are light they tow very well, and surprisingly have a low nose weight so you can put loads of kit under the front bed.
Hope this helps
Jon
