Hi all, I have had a Elddis Wisp 1995 for a few years now, and have tried to deal with a leaking front where the woodwork around the the bottom of the front window get wet after rain etc. Also water drips into the front storage locker.

I took it in last year to a local body worker in York to have the window woodwork rebuilt - superficially did a reasonable job - but the wood still gets wet & drips into the locker. I am fed up - & do not want to take it out again untill this leak is fixed.

I can't see where it is coming from having sealed off just about everything around.

Can anyone recommend a dealer or bodyworker in or near my area (North Yorkshire) who a) will definitely stop the leaks and b) will not rip me off! I do not mind paying a fair rate, but not a £500 + bill with the leak appearing a month later.

Names anyone? Then I can get it done at their leisure over the quiter winter months.

And I know some people will say "get shot of it", but just as I would not want anyone to sell me a pup, I cannot sell anyone else one either - too soft for my own good!

 I found a link for a caravan company that has been given on this site before (I have had no dealings with them).Looked at their website and says they have a 6 bay Insurance and Damp Repair Shop. And says on there they are independently assesed approved caravan workshop The Camping&Caravan Club ,Caravan Club and National Caravan Council . They are at Leeds and Blackburn ..Hope this might help.

 Just checked again and i think the damp repair shop is at their Blackburn branch and it says they give a 12 month warranty as standard
