Could you all help me with your experience and advice?

I have to buy my first awning and am told by dealers that Isabella are the best. However they are expensive so an alternative could be to go for Ventura that are, I think, made by the same company.

I could save £400+ but am I buying problems?

In our opinion Isabella are a top quality product and a new awning could easily outlive the caravan!

Ventura are made with the same materials, zips etc but somewhere in easten Europe. The factory is however owned by the Isabella group. They are a good alternative to  Isabella, just lacking the "branding" but keeping the water out just the same!

our last van had a Ventura awning with it. very very good in our experience + we also got a tall annexe for it.

We have had a Ventura porch for 5+ years and its as good as new

We don't have the round window

I'd say Isabella will be the best long term awning, having had our last one for 12 years & it was second hand when we bought it.

Saying that, we bought a new van this year & the awning HAD to be replaced because it was far to small. I know it's not in your choice range but we bought a new Dorema senator lux with an IXL frame, two tall Annexes with sleeping inners, a storm strap system built in & extra storm poles & a spare set of ladder straps for just under a grand less than the isabella equivalent.

I was half expecting a rubbish finish but was very surprised & pleased to see the quality of the Dorema when we erected it for the first time. It's excellent & so far we're very pleased with every aspect of our new awning.

Hi, I would say that the Isabella awnings are the best....without doubt. But, depending on how long you intend to keep the caravan would determine which one to buy. If you are only keeping the van for two or three years I would go for the Ventura as you would save a lot of money. The Isabella would be my choice if you were intending holding on to the van for a lot longer.....the chances of buying a different van with the same awning size would be quite rare......Floyd.
