hi everybody. can anyone please help me. i'm looking for the best product to fasten the awning rail back to the side of my caravan. the wind got hold of my awning and pulled about 10 inches of rail away from the side of the caravan at the end of last season

Hi steve and welcome to UKCS!!

Most awnings are attached by screws, although some older 'vans have nails/staples. I would drill fresh holes in the rail rather than screwing the awning back into the original holes as i doubt you would get a good 'grip' on the screws seeing as they were 'ripped out'

Remember to apply a good quality sealant before re-screwing the rail on. See Here for quality sealants at great prices. (the mastic on a roll is my own personal preference).
