I dont know how Saga rate in terms of cost etc, but someone ran into the back of us in that fog before Christmas - we sustained damage and i had some whiplash injury. The bloke who ran into us was insured with Saga.
Saga really impressed us, as on our return they had sent us letters admitting liability, arranged for repairs to be done, and had appointed me a solicitor to take up my claim for injuries received. Not only that, the guy had wrote his car off after impaling it on our towbar, Saga got him transport from the A34 at Oxford to Birmingham where they'd arranged to stay with friends, and had a replacement vehicle delivered to him ready to continue his journey up to Scotland the next morning.
I'm considering changing to Saga when my insurance runs out next April.
