We went to this caravan suppliers today to get some stays for the replacement window we've got and parked up at the back of his warehouse there was this tiny caravan. We asked him about it and he said he'd made one for each of his grandkids, they are in full towable working order, lights an all. Had a look inside and it had a sink, seating area and a little table (think it had a little wardrobe too). He made it for the grandkids when they were 4. I just think it was fab and I want one!!!!!!!!. Wish I had a piccie to put on here. Anyone else seen anything like it

Yes there used to be a tiny caravan at Burtree Caravans as it was then, it`s now Barrons and has been for quite a few years now. As far as I can remember it was a small Elddis, with everything in it except for a gas hob for safety reasons. I`m sure other people will remember it, I don`t know what happened to it or where it went. Does anyone on here know?

Hi Diane

My daughter used to go to a nursery, and in the playground was a perfect 1/3rd size caravan with all the bits.

It turns out the guy who made it worked in one of the caravan manufacturers in Hull (Swift I think). Apparently it was made for his grandchildren, and donated to the nursery when they'd outgrown it.

As far as I know its still there. If you know Hessle, its the Nursery close to Darleys.

theres one at selston too I think.

years ago when I was about 4 my dad built one. It was an exact replica of his caravan ( a Charnwood made in Leicester before all you people`s time LOL) It was towable with my little red pedal car.

AAH aint that sweet. God I havent thought about that for years. How come I remember that clearly and cannot remember when I took my last pill !!!!!!!!!

they used to hane a tiny elddis at Fawcetts in York.exact replica of the real thing. dunno what happened to it when they closed down though.

wondered at first if you were meaning one like ours! We have a Thompson MINI Glen 10ft x 6 ft so tiny compared to the ones they sell now !!!
