We have a 06 provance which we bought in Sept we didn't have a outside gas point but managed to get one fitted for free from our dealer he said this would normally be £100 never thought of elec socket as we had folding camper before and didnt really know about outside socket would be handy for awning.

The caravan its self is great and have allready spent over 30 nights in it very comfy family van and allthough it is quite large it is also very easy to tow and push.

My wife and daugther think the having own shower is great, the van is also very warm we normally and light and loads of spot lights so ideal for reading when everyone else sleeping.

I talked nicely and they fitted a gas point and electric point to my new Bailey and only charged for the price of the units+one hour labour.

Thanks everyone for your input, we are going to go for the 500/5 at the caravan show and try to wangle an electrical point.

Bolster cushions is the term I was looking for before (so the wife tells me).

We have one but getting that length of pipe is against the regs

Our dealer turns a blind eye but my friend who does work for several caravan dealers had to get me to get him some pipe as none of his contacts would supply long lengths.

Disposable barbecues need no pipe or external point
