Hi All

Can anyone tell me if Dorema Tall annex's are universal i.e. will fit all models of Dorema Awnings.

I have a 2006 Dorema Futura Special Edition Awning and would like to buy a 2nd hand Tall Annex. Have asked Dorema but for some reason they are acting like politicians and haven't answered the actual question. But are happy to tell me who has a new one in stock.

not all dorema annexs are the same if your sides slide into the awning rail then a universal annex will not suit ie a sirocco awning

I`m having the same problem looking for any height annex for my Dorema Calypso, it has fully zipped end panels. As you say little help from Dorema.

We bought a new Dorema Senator lux with tall annexes direct from Dorema, I had superb advice from the man on the phone & it was delivered to the door within two days.

Our awnng has fully zipped panels & the tall annexes go with them perfectly. However, if you're in any doubts, why not make a trip to the NEC at birmingham this month to the caravan & outdoor lelisure show

We have the Dorema Sirocco and bought a sleeping annex for it at the NEC last year. As you can see from This Pic which shows the left-hand panel removed, the zip only runs 2/3rds of the way round the panel & the other third slides through the awning rail!

Thanks for the info we are going to the NEC where we hope to either pic up a bargain or at least more info, will have to check out the awning to see how the side panel fits. Ah well should give neighbours something to laugh at our first attempt at the awning...

Awning manufacturers usually produce two different width awnings which are 2.5 and 3 metre awnings. The latter (having more material will usually zip all round whereas the 2.5 (having less material) will only zip up the outside and along the top. The part adjacent to the caravan is usually fitted by sliding the awning door up through the awning channel first thus leaving the top and the opposite side to be zipped up respectively. So due to the annexes not being universal you need to find out what width awning you have first and any reputable awning dealer should also ask the same question before you buy.
