Look out folks, Ditton's on the scrounge again...
Is anyone going to stay in their caravan next week at the NEC show, on the West Car Park arranged by the CCC? We're going to be there from Saturday to Saturday. I see this year that EHUs are an option... we've only just booked so I hope there are some left.
Anyhows, I'll be roaming the campsite late at night with a clipboard and a camera looking for victims, sorry, I mean willing volunteers to appear in 'Caravan Spy', the bit in Caravan Mag where I have a good old nosey around people's vans. Of course, it's all in the name of investigative journalism, nothing to do with the fact I like looking around vans...
If you're unfamiliar with the article, I have to take about 15 pics of you in your van, showing us HOW you use it, where you store stuff, and any little gems of information you feel might be useful (eg, if you put the dog basket in the washroom so you're not always tripping over it etc). The whole process takes about an hour of your time although we will need to take at least one 'outside' pic in daylight, so probably early morning or late afternoon.
In addition to the fame and adulation you'll receive from fellow 'vanners, we'll send you a copy of the mag you're in and possibly the odd freebie.
Even if you don't want to do 'Spy' but are going, say 'Hi' anyway!
Cheers,
Andrew
