Hi

We plan to venture out next weekend for our first ever caravan holiday. I am pretty confident that I can set up the caravan etc but am not to sure about the awning.

I have just purchased a brand new Dorma Sirroco awning and its still in the box. I dont have enough room at home to pratices putting it up, any tips on hoe to put it up? Shall I open it up at *home

 f45irst to chech if all the parts are there? is there anything extra I need or do all required parts come in the boxes?

Good luck with the trip. It might seem silly but make sure you have a hammer or mallet to bang the pegs in!!! Also an old candle or silicone spray for the awing bead, it might not be required but handy to haveit with you.

If your pitch has hard standing you'll need rock pegs and a lump hammer.

 Good idea to make it a "quiet" weekend trip, nothing too serious. Consider it a rehearsal for the big trip, the more you rehearse the better you will get. In no time you will be off to better climes and greater adventures all over europe - don't be restricted by your initial concerns - all will become clear.
