Hi Floyd, can you put some directions on here? We would have looked there too had we known about them, one of our favourite hobbies is looking at caravans.
Hi Anne, The Branch of Stuart Longtons is at Standish which is only 10-15 mins drive from Barron's at Coppull.
Just bought a new Swift Charisma 560 from Barrons in Cumbria, no problems so far but I am anxious to see what there after sales service will be like if we do have any problems.
As far as the vans being dirty on the forecourt they fully valet and check everything as part of there on the road package. You also get a full hour to go through the van with them and any problems can be fixed before you leave, they also offer a free two night stay for anyone travelling a distance so they can test the van before setting off home and are close by to solve any problems. As far as getting a wet or damp van I would just refuse to take it if it is not in prestige condition.

Jo, when did they start offering the free 2 night stay? We bought our van in 2003 and weren't offered it then. We stayed on a lovely site not far from a pub and a railway station, can't remember the name but now closed, we would use it as a stop over if still open. 2 pubs within staggering distance, one by the canal and one at the station.
I bought my van second hand from Barrons Burtree. On my first outing I waited until mid afternoon to test out the water systems and thereby avoid the frosty weather. i found a leak on the shower valve assembly. I drained the system and called Barrons. The staff member immediately said "frost damage mate not covered by our warranty". It took 3 calls to explain we had only tested the water in bright sunlight and found the fault, It was our first trip after purchase!! They have booked me in but I will not be using them in future and have lost all confidence in their warranty.
Got our new van from Barrons. I had expected poor service but we were getting a good deal so went with them. They were very friendly and have phoned three times to ask how we're getting on. Our pump is noisier than we had expected and they offered to run a new one out to us! Left it that if it goes whilst we're away, we'll buy a new one and they will refund us. So far, I can't fault them.
We travelled from Surrey to Barrons in Coppul to buy our new van, a Swift Charisma about a year ago. We purchased the van after getting a good deal and a few extras and found them to be very good.
Not sure about their after sales service as we haven't had a problem.

We had a problem with our AL-CO stabiliser on our journey up the A1 so we travelled an extra junction and called in at Barrons (Co.Durham), asked for help and they sorted it out for us right away, no charge and with a smile. They never asked if we bought our camper from them they just wanted to help us out ( bought the camper from else where)
