the 8 didgit number is probably the CRIS number, a database of caravans, including chassis Nos, No. berths, axles etc.

the vin No will be stamped onto a plate, along with the MIRO, and MTPLM weights, attached somwhere, usually to the chassis of the van, try the A-frame, or under where the door is, these are common places. it may be hidden under the plastic fairing if there is one on the A-frame.

Failing that pop ionto your local dealer, they might be able to tell you where the plate is

hi most signed up to CRIS in 1992 some small firms did not,i think craftsman was one,this could be the reason for the non etched windows,my book says 1994/95 identification is a plate by the door first two digits give the model year.not sure if still in business says ring .. upminster caravans tel.01708-864117.see
