the 8 didgit number is probably the CRIS number, a database of caravans, including chassis Nos, No. berths, axles etc.
the vin No will be stamped onto a plate, along with the MIRO, and MTPLM weights, attached somwhere, usually to the chassis of the van, try the A-frame, or under where the door is, these are common places. it may be hidden under the plastic fairing if there is one on the A-frame.
Failing that pop ionto your local dealer, they might be able to tell you where the plate is
