Some friends of our have just bought a 2007 Elite Explorer, and something as gone over the back of the drawer which is over the fire, and they want to know how to remove the drawer in order to retrieve what they have lost.
Can anyone please help?

Many thanks in anticipation of all replies

Presumably there are 'stops' on the runners?   A torch and a mirror should pinpoint how and where they are fitted?

HTH.

Not sure if this may help, but on my 'van, with the drawer pulled out as far as it will go, there are two black "stoppers" down the sides, on the runners. Using a knike or screwdriver, these have to be levered out at the same time as the drawer is being pulled, and hopefully that might do the trick.

Mine has 2 self tappers holding the runners to the draw. Undo them and the draw slides out.

On the Bailey there are 2 screws visible when the table part is pulled open and a screw on each side into the bed frame.

On one van we had there were  2 turn buckles inside the drawer carcass

Now this sounds silly but have you spoke to the agent you bought it from or even the manufacturer - if anyone knows they will.

I went down and had a look at the drawer myself this morning, there are no screws or clips etc., you just give a sharp pull up at the front when its fully open
